Worming & Flea treatments

We can advise you on the best products and plan when it comes to treating and keeping your pet parasite free. All of these treatments can be purchased over the counter or as part of a consultation with the vet. Treatments available in the form of a tablet or spot on.

Microchipping & Vaccinations

Microchipping can be done from 6 weeks of age this includes cats and dogs.

Vaccinations can be given from 6 weeks of age for dogs and 9 weeks of age for cats.

Dental Care

We offer preventative dental cleaning, polishing and oral surgery i.e extractions.

Neutering

Neutering is a routine operation for male and female cats and dogs. We always recommend neutering pets that are not intended for breeding. If you have any questions contact us.

Anaesthesia

Your pet will be required to fast prior to anaesthesia. We recommend fasting from 8pm the night before your pet’s procedure. Prior to admission you will be asked to read and sign a consent form. This will give us permission to anesthetize your pet and carry out any procedures necessary.

For pets over 7 years old we would always recommend a pre-anaesthetic blood test. This is just a quick test we can run to help us access your pets health and fitness level to insure safe anaesthesia.

X-ray

X-rays provide a view inside a pet’s body. We can view the abdominal organs, the heart and lungs. We can also view bones. This allows us to detect fractures and arthritic problems.

We have a selection of accessories and essentials available instore for your pets. We stock an extensive range of both cat and dog foods. Veterinary diets are our speciality. Any of our staff would be happy to advise you on the most suitable diet for your pet.
